Multi-instrumentalist singer Paul Tkachenko started off his career working in variery theatres in Germany, most notably The Apollo Variety Theatre in Düsseldorf. He then graduated to touring Circus and spent a number of seasons as vocalist with Circus Roncalli.

Since moving to London in 2003, he has entertained people Europe wide as a solo artist and also with comedy ensemble The London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra.

Paul has performed in London for The Magic Lantern Club, London and at the Winter Garden's Blackpool with The Whoopee Club and at City Hall Variety in Leeds.

As well as as a keen interest in music research, Paul teaches at the international klezmer festival, KlezFest, London.

Recently Paul was musical director for the sell out Punchdrunk / National Theatre production 'The Masque of the Red Death' at Battersea Arts Centre.
