Since starting his musical career as a member of the house band at Cardiff’s award winning Toucan Club, Ian has played in many varied projects. Last year was a pretty hectic affair with gigs at The Beijing Midi Festival, South by Southwest in Austin Texas, Glastonbury, and other European festivals/club gigs with underground space funk pioneers Kava Kava. He’s currently playing baritone sax with the Prince Consort’s Band as part of the Punchdrunk production of  'The Masque of the Red Death' at the Battersea Arts Centre. Other notable projects include an appearance at the Carling Leeds Festival with the Scaramanga Six, A full UK tour and BBC John Peel session with Brave Captain, session work for BBC Wales, S4C and Nickleodeon. As well as being in demand on London’s busy function circuit he also finds time to play regular Jazz and Funk gigs.
